Who We Are

Jack Hunt is the Lead Pastor at The Well. Prior to starting The Well, Jack served as a student ministry pastor and a lead designer for an engineer-consulting firm in South Carolina. He has over 20 years of experience in church leadership, mentoring, organizational development, engineering design and facilities layout. But Jack’s favorite “job” is being Pop to Jax and Jules.

Jack's wife Miranda is a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience in the nursing field and currently works as a contract RN. She is a proud Baylor Bear—sic’ em Bears and one day hopes that Jax and Jules will be Baylor Bears as well. (Or South Carolina Gamecocks if you ask Dad).

Jack was born and raised in South Carolina. Miranda was born in Pasadena, Texas and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. Jack and Miranda met in Pensacola, Florida and were married 11 months later in 2000. They have two sons, Jax and Jules. Jack & Miranda enjoy movies, playing (competitively) games and cards, cruising toward warm waters, taking Disney vacations, cheering on Jax and Jules and wondering where's Hope—a reclusive lap dog that likes to hide.

Brooke has been a part of the The Well Church team since the launch in 2011. She began as the Children’s Pastor, and now serves as Associate Pastor. She has a BA in Church Ministries from Southwestern AG University and received her Masters in Church Management from SMU.

Brooke is passionate about seeing the local church thrive and strives to make the church a place where anyone can connect and belong. Her favorite part of ministry is developing leaders and she loves to study and teach the Bible to adults and students alike. Brooke and David were high school sweethearts and married in June 2013. They just welcomed their first child, Brooks Leonard, a beautiful baby boy in February 2022. They love road trips, watching local sports, iced coffee, Crossfit, and their pup Murphy.
